Fargate is a serverless compute engine for containers that works with both Amazon ECS or Amazon EKS. When using Fargate, you do not need to provision or manage the underlying EC2 instances on which the Docker platform is running. Instead, Fargate manages this Amazon EC2 infrastructure for you. By using Fargate, you can focus more on innovating and developing your applications, not managing application infrastructure.
ECS와 EKS는 기본적으로 EC2 위에서 돌아가는데, Fargate를 쓰면 이 EC2를 AWS에서 알아서 관리해준다.
